Publication: Fashionable Bauhaus

Publication design for a 68 page book |

The Bauhaus school (1919–1933) defined 20th-century design through its principles of functionalism, abstraction, and ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ (total work of art). While Bauhaus architecture and industrial design are well known, textile design and later pathways into fashion is an interesting, if more complex, topic. This publication focuses on Weaving at the Bauhaus school, it’s legacy and subsequent translations into contemporary fashion design.
